Money $ense Combines with Money Mind Set to Promote Financial Literacy
July 15, 2016, Exeter, NH –– Marc Hebert, President of The Harbor Group, a financial planning and wealth management firm, and host of the weekly radio segment, Money $ense, joins forces with Dr. Deborah Osgood, entrepreneurial coach and motivational speaker, to talk about how a person’s money mind set influences their financial aptitude.
“Money means different things to different people,” said Osgood, who is also President and CEO of the Knowledge Institute for Small Business Development (KISBD), specialists in entrepreneurial development training and coaching. “To some it means power, for others a necessity. By stepping back and taking a closer look at the value that we give to money, we can gain better control on how we manage it to achieve our quality of life objectives.”
The Harbor Group has been offering comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to families and small businesses for thirty-five years. Hebert is an accomplished Certified Financial Planner® and holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Planning from The College for Financial Planning, with an emphasis on retirement planning, investment strategies, portfolio management and advanced estate planning. In addition, Mr. Hebert has served as an expert witness for the State of New Hampshire in investment related matters.
Osgood’s approach to helping individuals identify their money mind set has been applied across the U.S. with multiple different audiences as a tool for helping to improve both career and personal life outcomes. As employers continue to move toward more contingent workforce trends, her approach has been focused on promoting financial literacy around developing and growing self-employed ventures. Audiences have included high school youth, women, Native Americans, veterans, minorities and individuals with disabilities.
